The idea is that you can plan your trip at your own pace, and we’ll take care of you as soon as you land in Balmaceda. We speak multiple languages and organize all the tours ourselves. You don’t need to speak Spanish, and no one else is taking a cut.
We’re also happy to arrange your accommodations. Starting in 2027, we’ll have 7 rooms of our own that we can rent to you. Until then, we’ll make sure you’re properly accommodated here in Coyhaique.
You arrive, leave your luggage at the hotel, which is also always the starting point for the excursions.
"We lead you where the maps end and the wonder begins. Experience the Aysén region not as a tourist, but as an explorer."
Aysén is one of the most sparsely populated regions in the world. Here you will find crystal clear rivers, hanging glaciers, and forests untouched by man for centuries.
As local experts, we know the paths off the guidebooks. We show you the authentic life of the Gauchos, private waterfalls, and places where you have the condors almost to yourself.

Discover Lake Elizalde
Covering an area of nearly 3,000 hectares and surrounded by mountain ranges, the lake is home to a rich variety of native flora and fauna. It’s the perfect place to experience nature through a variety of recreational activities, all in a setting with a European flair. Stretching 25 kilometers in length, Lake Elizalde offers ideal conditions for horseback riding, fly fishing, or simply relaxing.
The traditional roasting of a whole lamb on a spit is a must for visitors. It can take up to 4 hours, with the focus on socializing and spending time with friends and family. A real treat for the palate, as it’s served with traditional sopaipillas, pebre, potatoes, and salad. Everything is organic, and of course, you’ll be greeted with a Pisco Sour.

The first encounter with a family of condors is breathtaking. These majestic vultures are the largest of their kind in this region. You can almost touch them in their natural habitat. They are free, untamed birds that have made this magnificent landscape their home. An unforgettable experience!
The marble caves of Puerto Tranquilo are one of nature’s true wonders. Crystal-clear turquoise water surrounds rock formations that have been “smoothed” by the water over thousands of years. The lake itself is the second largest in South America, and the landscape is virtually untouched.
Queulat National Park is located in the Aysén Region in southern Chile and covers 154,093 hectares of pristine Patagonian landscape. The park is known for its dramatic Andean peaks, glaciers, deep fjords, and the Valdivian rainforest. Its landmark is the **Ventisquero Colgante**, a hanging glacier that spectacularly flows into Laguna Témpanos.
Experiencing this extraordinary natural spectacle up close is an unforgettable experience!
Laguna San Rafael National Park is located in the Aysén Region of Chile and, at **1,742,000 hectares** (17,420 km²), is one of the country’s largest national parks. Established in 1959, it was designated a **Biosphere Reserve** by UNESCO in 1979.
The centerpiece of the park is the **San Rafael Glacier**, part of the **Northern Patagonian Ice Field** (Campo de Hielo Norte). The glacier is approximately **45 km long**, up to **2.5 km wide**, and reaches a height of up to **70 meters** at its front. It is considered the **glacier closest to the equator** that flows directly into a body of water—in this case, Laguna San Rafael.
The park is accessible only by **boat** or **plane**, e.g., from Puerto Chacabuco. On rubber dinghy tours, visitors can observe icebergs in deep shades of blue and toast with **whiskey on 1,000-year-old glacial ice**—an unforgettable experience amidst the wild Patagonian landscape.
